ABB F200 Electromagnetic Residual Current Device

This electromagnetic residual current device from ABB offers reliable protection without incorporating overcurrent features, designed for efficient detection of leakage currents to enhance electrical safety. Its compact design suits various electrical installations, providing precise and consistent residual current monitoring.

• Rated residual operating current: 30 mA ensures sensitive detection of earth faults.
• Rated voltage: 230 V AC supports standard residential and commercial supply systems.
• Frequency: 50/60 Hz compatibility accommodates diverse power grids worldwide.
• Breaking capacity: 0.5 kA for reliable operation under fault conditions.
• Electromagnetic technology: provides fast response times to leakage currents.

Compared to other residual current devices, the ABB F200 emphasizes electromagnetic detection for rapid fault response, differing from electronic alternatives by offering increased durability and immunity to electrical noise. Its lack of overcurrent protection means it is typically installed alongside separate circuit breakers, enhancing flexibility in system design while maintaining high safety standards.

Innovative Design for Enhanced Safety and Precision

The ABB F200 utilizes electromagnetic principles to deliver swift and accurate fault detection, minimizing risks of electric shock or fire. Its streamlined build allows for easy integration into existing electrical panels. This device ensures consistent performance even in environments with fluctuating electrical conditions, aligning with rigorous safety regulations and industry expectations.

By focusing exclusively on residual current detection, the F200 reduces complexity without compromising protection, making it an ideal choice for applications where overcurrent protection is managed separately. This specialization enhances its reliability and extends operational lifespan compared to combined-function devices.
